On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization declared public health emergency after the severity and speed of transmission of the new coronavirus in a global school became evident. Here, the Brazilian Ministry of Health has also declared a national emergency through Ordinance No. 188/2020 and Law No. 13,979 / 2020.
In this new context, which transformed the world and established new priorities, privacy has been constantly tested and sacrificed in order to control the proliferation of Covid-19. In most organizations, however, the compulsory and sudden migration to home office has been posing challenges for data protection and information security. In turn, with the imminent reopening of the market, new challenges arise regarding the limits of privacy and data processing when it comes to protecting the health of employees in the workplace.
